If President Trump wants to rouse inert Republicans, what he can do is rescind an Obama-era rule that allowed congress to exempt themselves from a rule that all other American have under Obamacare.
This Obama-era rule allowed Congress to fake they were a small business and file certificates with the DC Health Exchange saying they only had 50 employees when they had thousands of employees.
If President Trump rescinds that rule, it will light the fire under Congressional Republicans and they will move to act to make sure the ruinous Obamacare policies that are harming American’s healthcare won’t harm Congressional healthcare.
