President Trump is being criticized by the media for downplaying the Coronavirus even though at the beginning of the threat, he was initially criticized by them for blocking some travel to China. So now he’s saying the media coverage is a hoax because the media criticized him for jumping in then criticizing him of underplaying it. Of course the Coronavirus is a serious matter, but we’re seeing the convergence of two things with the media on this: The first is the media’s tendency to hype any sort of danger and the second tendency is the very left-leaning media’s effort to pin all blame on a Republican administration–particularly a Trump administration.
