It’s disappointing that the justices decided not to take up this case because even though it’s tangentially related to abortion there were many reasons to take the case up apart from the fact that it touched on that and Justice Thomas and his dissent essentially says that the Supreme Court should not be afraid to take up these issues just because they’re part of a controversial national issue.
