Iowa is about momentum, not delegate count. The whole reason Iowa is significant is that candidates get a boost from placing well, and that can help propel a candidate forward in future caucuses and primaries. Iowa is very important as an early test of campaign performance, but things can change quickly. Bernie has a lot of appeal to far-left Democrats, and that translates to early success for him, similar to 2016.
I was on Fox News Media Buzz on Sunday with Howard Kurtz to discuss the Iowa caucus.
