Gayle speaks with private investigator Sheila Wysocki about unsolved murder investigations.
This is the first of Right In DC’s Cold Case Series where Gayle will discuss unsolved murders in the DC Metro Area.
Sheila Wysocki endured the murder of her college roommate decades ago. As the police and prosecutors failed to bring the murderer to justice, Sheila could not escape the vision of her beautiful roommate whose murder had gone unavenged.
Sheila and I talked about her quest to identify the criminal, and how she took what she learned from that experience to help other families solve “cold cases.” Surprisingly, many murders are characterized as suicides by the authorities, and Sheila has helped families to debunk these false characterizations of criminal acts.
