How does a debate moderator, with the kind of he said/she said dispute, ask both Bernie and Elizabeth about what he supposedly told her, but he flatly denies it?
The legal objection to the question that Abby Philips said is that the question that she posed to Elizabeth Warren assumed a fact that was not in evidence. That’s why you heard the laugh line because it was a striking stance for a moderator to essentially say that she thought that Elizabeth Warren was telling the truth and Bernie Sanders was lying. As a lawyer, I’m calling “Objection.”
