Judicial Crisis Network spokeswoman Gayle Trotter is confident Democrats will support President Trump’s Supreme Court nomination following Justice Kennedy’s retirement.
“It would be in their interest to do so because a lot of their constituents are going to want to see their senator – even a Democratic senator – support the president on this nomination,” Trotter told Hill.TV’s “Rising.”
Judicial Crisis Network, a conservative group, recently launched a seven figure ad promoting Trump’s pick – even before they have been revealed. Trotter said the ad isn’t premature, citing the nomination as “one of the most consequential moments of this administration and for the nation.”
